About Nishant Sharma

I build the parts of a product that have to keep working when nobody is watching — REST APIs, database schemas, auth boundaries, and the deployment pipeline that ships them. Most recently that meant a three-sided property-verification marketplace at Zytexa Technology LLP: 18 Prisma/PostgreSQL models, 106 endpoints, and money logic where a commission split is frozen onto the purchase row at transaction time so the historical record survives a policy change.

The work I care most about sits where backend engineering meets AI infrastructure. On VizTube that is a RAG pipeline running on a deliberately small 1 GB EC2 box — a decoupled FastAPI worker for transcription, embeddings generated locally, and pgvector search living inside the same Postgres as the relational data so a semantic query and a permissions check happen in one round-trip.

I am currently in my third year of a Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) at S.S. Jain Subodh PG College, and twice cleared the Indian Air Force SSB — a 5-day assessment of leadership and decision-making under pressure that turns out to be surprisingly good preparation for a production incident.
